Music as an opportunity for encounter and exchange in the direct, informal relationship between a performer and an audience, which is precisely what these concerts at 7 pm intend to establish. After so many months of virtual concerts, music returns to physicality, and music-making becomes deeply rooted in the city itself, thanks to the institutions devoted to its promotion, but also to the human empathy that radiates from the voices of the Ukrainian Choir. So, on one side are the Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “G. Verdi”—the school that has been forming generations of local musicians for several decades now; and the Luigi Cherubini Youth Orchestra— that trains young musicians to launch their professional careers. On the other are the musicians the city welcomes in these tragic weeks of war. This small but precious programme features voices and instruments alternating in the name of study and passion. 1-Euro tickets for all the events.
