This year’s Autumn Trilogy is a journey back in time to the roots of belcanto and the origins of opera, which will take the audience to the sounds and atmospheres of 17th century Baroque music with Monteverdi and Purcell. Those were years of extraordinary musical and artistic ferment, so, to conclude the opera diptych, we invited one of the undisputed protagonists of the contemporary vocal scene, a symbol of renewal and of the timeless expressive and communicative power of a repertoire that challenges the centuries. Orlinski, the Polish countertenor who, in his early thirties, has already conquered audiences all over the world: with his heavenly voice, he revives the fascination of castrato singing and combines it with the dynamic physicality of breakdancing in an irresistible blend.
