Ravenna is the destination of this new journey along the Paths of friendship, because the spirit that animates the project is the same spirit that is summed up in the words of St Augustine. As Riccardo Muti notes, «singing and making music together is the most vivid example of a society that strives for the common good through harmony and beauty». So once again, through the universal language of music, a language that comes from the heart and reaches the soul, in a dramatic period of history torn by war and misunderstanding, all the voices of our country, regardless of age or experience, will come together under Maestro Muti to embark on a unique journey through choral music, sharing a passion for music and belcanto singing some of Verdi’s most beloved choral works under the Maestro’s baton, trying to imagine a world where peace knows no boundaries.
