The Mediterranean is truly a mare magnum of cultures, traditions and legends. Like the myth of Atlantis, the island “with silver veins”, symbol of a wise and highly developed society that, as Plato tells us in his dialogues, mysteriously disappeared into the mists of time. But to talk about the sea, we must first learn about the land: Mario Tozzi, a scientist and senior researcher at the National Research Council, will tell us about the Mediterranean from a geological point of view, while Enzo Favata, an eclectic saxophonist of Sardinian origin, will accompany the narrative with saxophones, clarinets and ethnic instruments that, thanks also to electronics, will plunge the listener into a fairytale world of sounds. Together, they will paint an archaic landscape, guardian of ancient secrets.
