The sound of committed folk rock
One of the most spectacular natural stages in Romagna will host the most representative Italian combat-folk group in a place where the combination of music, environment and tradition has been celebrated for twenty years. There are many anniversaries behind this concert, which comes thirty years after the collective album Materiale Resistente and two decades after the band’s acclaimed album, Appunti Partigiani. Celebrating the 80th anniversary of Liberation Day is something that transcends rhetoric, especially when the focus is on the struggles of the Resistance and the values of anti-fascism. The Modena City Ramblers will do it as they’ve always done it: singing the songs of a community that identifies with the founding principles of the Italian Republic, celebrating a union of horizons in a secular rite that bridges the gap between the stage and the audience.
Purchase the Supporter Carnet for the nine concerts (50 euro), which includes the 2025 edition t-shirt and a donation to flood-damaged small libraries.
