Paradiso is a collaboration between Gruppo Nanou and Alfredo Pirri, débuting in Ravenna with the first part of a project dedicated to Dante’s third cantica. Paradisois seen as an outer space inhabited by weightless, evanescent figures; a long-shot camera view drowned by the music of Bruno Dorella, and choreographed in synergy with visual art. The project will be completed in 2022. The choreographic action dives deep into this space, becomes an essential part of it, takes on its contours and connotations. At the same time, this space is a place, a design, an architecture, independent of bodies and objects. It behaves like an elastic material that reacts to bodies and objects by moulding to them, then immediately recovers its own physiognomy and shape.
