When a windmill churns out afro rock
The music of Savana Funk, one of the most explosive live acts on the Italian scene, is the tangible result of years of sweat, ingenuity and practice. The band have a lot in common with a place like Molino Scodellino, almost a monument to the reality of human labour, when technology was as important as hard work, and when the harmony of nature and culture was unquestioned. The energy they release from an irresistible mix of black music, rock and afrobeat is the result of encounters, talent, dedication and the absence of geographical or mental barriers. All of these things are palpable at their concerts, so overwhelming and infectious as to make them known around the world, injecting a vibrant lifeblood into all those lucky enough to cross their path.
Purchase the Supporter Carnet for the nine concerts (50 euro), which includes the 2025 edition t-shirt and a donation to flood-damaged small libraries.
