Soqquadro Italiano’s bubbly recipe can be trusted to get guaranteed inspired results: put together two artists with a passion for baroque music and contemporary styles, add Vincenzo Capezzuto’s dual vocation as a dancer and a singer, and Claudio Borgianni’s theatrical experience, and you get a duo capable of upsetting the scene. This time they confront “the Red Priest” and, with the choreographic complicity of Mauro Bigonzetti, the new director of the ballet of La Scala, they set up their Stabat Mater – Vivaldi Project: a performance that fuses dance, words, music and theatre, supported by three dominant colours (blue, red, and gold) and sharp, vibrant movements that follow Vivaldi’s smoothness.
